Our Lady’s Abingdon (OLA) is a thriving and highly regarded Catholic independent day school for boys and girls aged 7-18 years. Founded in 1860 and set in pleasant grounds, we are just a few minutes walk away from the centre of the historic market town of Abingdon, and just 8 miles from the city of Oxford.
Christian principles and teaching are at the heart of OLA, although boys, girls and staff of all faiths, or none, are welcomed. Our aim is to develop the individual talents of each pupil, believing that every human being is created to become a unique person with gifts that need to be recognised and valued.
