Robert Blake School

Robert Blake School is a co-educational, non-denominational secondary school in Bridgwater, Somerset. There are currently 975 students aged 11-16 on the school roll.

Robert Blake School is named for a distinguished 17th-century military commander who was born in Bridgwater. The town is located to the west of the Quantocks and has a population of 41,000.

The school is housed in a wonderful building completed in 2012, and boasts fantastic facilities.  The school environment provides every opportunity for students to learn and achieve.

At Robert Blake we want every person to be the best version of themselves.  Students leave ready to contribute respectfully and positively to society.  The school aims to improve the life chances and accelerate the progress for all students regardless of their starting point.  We are looking for staff committed to the schools’ ethos of ‘Aspire/Achieve/Celebrate’.
