SEK International School Qatar

Opened in 2013, SEK International School Qatar is located at the prominent West Bay, Al Farouq Street in Doha. The city of Doha is the nation’s capital and largest city, with a population of 1.5 million. An IB World School, SEK is provisioned to teach the International Baccalaureate in continuum from entrance at age 3 to the conclusion of secondary at age 18. The main language of instruction here is English, with further language opportunities offered in Spanish and Arabic. Sports facilities include a multipurpose Indoor Sports Hall, and outdoor football, basketball and volleyball courts.

Founded in 1892, the umbrella organisation SEK International Schools offers education to more than 6,000 day and boarding students from more than 50 nationalities, from ages 3 to 18. The organisation as expanded to campuses across Spain, plus France, Ireland, and Qatar.
