 Founded on Christian values, we enable every girl to discover and develop her own strengths. St Helen & St Katharine is a school where success is celebrated but not revered and our goal is to ensure that every girl achieves success as she defines it, so that she can believe in herself, her talents and her abilities. 

We are one of the leading girls’ schools in the country and are justifiably proud of a tradition of high aspiration and academic achievement (our students achieved record breaking GCSE results with 77% A* this year). But we take just as much pleasure in the warmth of the atmosphere here and in our dynamic range of extra-curricular activities. From Minecraft to Mandarin, Silversmithing to Sailing, Board Games to Big Band and much more besides, our girls are given the space and opportunity to make their own choices and find their niche.   

A welcoming 22 acre campus in Abingdon provides exceptional facilities that include a brand new state-of-the-art Sports Centre; Performing Arts Centre; extended Sixth Form Centre; Science Centre with 12 new laboratories, break out spaces and a 200sqm science themed glass atrium and a 3D Design Centre.
