The Mission of The Douay Martyrs School is:
 
“To create a Christ-centred learning community where every individual is enabled to fulfil their true potential” 

To be Christ-centred, means to see Christ in everyone, including yourself, and to always promote the values that we know Christ promoted and taught about whilst he was on earth.

Throughout your time at The Douay Martyrs School you will be fully supported in many ways to grow in your faith and understand what it means to be Christ–centred. You will also be fully supported in developing your potential. It is only right in a Christ-centred community that we should aim to use our talents and gifts and develop these talents and gifts. It is the Mission of The Douay Martyrs School to do this. All members of the school community that is, pupils, teachers, support staff, parents, priests, can help one another develop their talents and gifts and therefore fulfil their potential. To do this, is to be truly living your life according to the values promoted by Christ.
