Who we are
Established in 2011, the English School of Mongolia (ESM) is the largest and most rapidly growing, accredited international school in Ulaanbaatar. As the only BSO inspected and FOBISIA member school in Mongolia, we provide the prestigious IB PYP, IGCSE, and IB DP curriculums to over 1,150 students aged 3 to 18, nurturing the leaders of tomorrow in an ever-changing world.
What we believe - Mission and Vision
At ESM, our mission is to deliver holistic education while focusing on celebrating cultural and personal values. Supporting students’ educational, moral, social, and spiritual needs, we create a learning environment where the strengths of every child can be identified and nurtured. While striving for academic excellence, ESM cultivates life-long learners who are self-confident, well-organized independent thinkers, curious about the world around them. Recognizing the importance of life skills development in learners, our community educates global citizens who are our future "change makers."
What we offer
Our diverse community of students, teachers, and staff represents over 20 nationalities, fostering a rich and inclusive learning environment that celebrates cultural diversity. We offer an attractive salary package including housing allowance, health insurance, flight allowance, and comprehensive professional development support to help our teachers excel in their careers. Mongolia offers a unique blend of ancient nomadic traditions and modern urban life. Living in Ulaanbaatar, you'll experience the warm hospitality of the locals, breathtaking landscapes, and a rich cultural heritage that sets this country apart.
As part of our commitment to providing a well-rounded educational experience, we offer opportunities for teachers to travel abroad as part of our school programs. These international experiences foster personal growth, cultural awareness, and global perspectives, allowing teachers to deepen their connections with students and develop valuable cross-cultural skills.
