About The Mill Academy
The MILL Academy was established in October 2015. We are committed to ‘transforming lives through inspirational education’. We are based in the beautiful and historic town of Witney in West Oxfordshire.
The MILL Academy is an exciting place to work and learn. We are committed to providing education that transforms lives and we are ambitious in our pursuit of excellence. All of our academies work collaboratively together and, by joining us, you will be assured of truly exceptional professional development.
This is a hugely exciting time for our schools as we are presented with a rare opportunity to make a real difference to the lives and life chances of so many young people.
The MILL Academy is a family of three schools, The Henry Box School, Queen Emma's Primary School and Finstock Church of England Primary School. All of our schools are rated "good" by OFSTED and our ongoing vision is to enable each of our individual schools to flourish whilst remaining integral to the communities they serve.
The MILL Academy Values:
Motivate - raising aspirations
Inspire - celebrating distinctiveness
Learn - learning together
Lead - consistency of expectations
Our schools benefit from a highly skilled and flexible central support team, which provide finance, HR, Health, Safety and Wellbeing, ICT, premises and marketing services so our school teams can concentrate on teaching our children and young people.
