About The New English School
Repton New English School is a co-educational independent all-through school with a sixth form. It is based in Amman in Jordan.
The school was founded in 1986 as the New English School. It offers an English only stream as an alternative to a traditional bilingual education and boasts a student body comprising around 35 nationalities. The School’s pre-IGCSE programme is based on the National Curriculum for England and Wales and provides the foundation for AS and A Level studies. Moreover, the Cambridge International Primary Programme has been fully introduced at the school since the academic year 2010/2011. Repton New English School is a member of the European Council for International Schools and the Council for International Schools, linking it with similar international schools throughout the world. It is a recognised Teaching Institution and Examinations Centre accredited by both the Edexcel and Cambridge International examination boards. The school is also an accredited training centre for the Cambridge International Diploma for Teachers and Trainers.
