Values and vision
The Sweyne Park School prides itself on being a safe and happy environment for pupils. Central to the school is a belief in respect for students, staff and the environment. This focus on respect leads to high expectations and excellent discipline, which in turn deliver the highest possible achievement for each individual pupil.
The secondary school has taken its first steps towards becoming a UNICEF Rights Respecting School – its work so far has been recognised with UNICEF's Recognition of Commitment award. Sweyne Park's Rights Respecting Group represents pupils from each year, who work to make sure that everybody associated with the school – staff and parents included – knows about the rights of children and the importance of respecting these rights.
