About UTC Oxfordshire
UTC Oxfordshire is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational secondary school with sixth form, serving students from the age of 14-19. Situated in Harwell near Didcot the UTC has a maximum capacity of 600 students. It is part of the Active Learning Education Trust and works with industry partners: BMW Mini, UK Atomic Energy Authority, Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC), RM Education, Reaction Engines and Bloodhound SSC and Academic Partners: Oxford Brookes University, Royal Holloway (University of London) and Reading University.
UTC Oxfordshire opened in 2015 and allows for students to specialise in either science or engineering.

UTC Oxfordshire's focus is to nurture mature, professional, talented, confident and successful students who grow into confident learners, equipped with knowledge, skills and a good attitude. UTC Oxfordshire works to employ passionate staff who have relevant knowledge and experience of industry to help engage pupils and make learning enjoyable. Work placements are encouraged; students make the most of the school’s strong industry links, preparing them for their future career. Strong working partnerships between parents and school, the school and industry are at the heart of driving academic progress in our students. Furthermore, the student’s wellbeing and personal development are supported through a strong pastoral care system and dedicated pastoral team.
