About Wrenn School

Wrenn School is a vibrant, inclusive secondary school where high standards, strong relationships and exceptional care sit at the heart of everything we do. Under the leadership of Principal Laura Parker, Wrenn is a community where students are supported to thrive academically, socially and personally.

Wrenn is proud to be a split‑site school, supporting students through their journey from Key Stage 3 to Key Stages 4 and 5. Set across two well‑resourced sites, the school benefits from beautiful grounds and excellent facilities, including purpose‑built creative spaces and extensive sports provision. Ofsted (December 2023) also noted that “Pupils benefit from a plethora of opportunities and clubs which extend beyond the curriculum.”

We aim for excellence in all that we do, investing in both academic success and personal development. Students are encouraged to take on responsibility through leadership, mentoring and Sixth Form opportunities, helping them to build confidence, character and aspiration.

Our Wrenn Values - Work Hard, Respect Others, Enjoy Learning, Never Give Up and Navigate the Future - are central to daily life and underpin the high expectations we hold for every member of our school community.

Positive relationships between staff, students and families are the foundation of our success. Open communication and strong partnerships ensure students feel supported, safe and valued.

Wrenn School is proud to be part of Creative Education Trust (CET), a national network of schools united by a shared commitment to transforming lives through education. CET believes that every child has talent, every community has strength, and every school can be a place where excellence thrives. Through a rich and inclusive curriculum, high expectations and purposeful leadership, CET schools work collaboratively to inspire ambition, promote equity and unlock opportunity for every learner. This shared value base strengthens our work at Wrenn and ensures our students are prepared to lead confident, independent and successful futures.
