Working Pattern: 32.5 hours per week, Term Time only
St Dominic’s School is a special school in Godalming, Surrey, and stands in 56 acres of wooded grounds with ample space for outdoor learning activities. The school provides for 150 pupils and students between the ages of 7 – 19, who have a range of academic abilities and complex needs and with a primary diagnosis of speech language and communication needs and/or autistic spectrum conditions.
The school is the national lead in the ‘blended’ approach to teaching and learning and holds the Advanced Autism Accreditation and the prestigious Arts Council ‘Artsmark’ Silver Award.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual who will:
· Support the Teachers in the Science Department.
· Support Pupils
· Contribute with Assessment, Monitoring and Evaluation
· Administration and Management of Resources
· Preparation of materials and equipment for science lessons.
· Maintain Science Laboratory the equipment and services in good order.
The successful candidate will be required to support all pupils in their planned work, both in small group situations and individually, clarifying and explaining instructions as required to enable them to complete the work to their full ability.
You must be able to convey the subject to pupils and students and support to ensure the best possible progress. The successful candidate will have a commitment to developing outstanding practice and a passion for making a difference to the education and lives of our young people by motivating and inspiring our pupils and students to be the best that they can be while building positive and supportive relationships.
