About Lordswood Boys’ School

Lordswood Boys’ School is part of the Central Academies Trust (CAT). CAT was formed in September 2017 to specifically sponsor Lordswood Boys’ School with one ambition in vastly improving the life chances of the young men the school serves. An educational Trust with members and directors drawn from the highest achieving and highest profile schools in Coventry and Birmingham. Who we’re looking for

We’re looking for a Director of Learning - Science with a proven track record of success in improving standards and raising pupil outcomes. We want to hear from talented middle leaders looking to extend their experience.

As an experienced teacher, you will work with the current science team, comprising the Head of Department, second in department and other science teachers to develop an exciting curriculum that suits every type of learner and have the resolve to make a real difference to the lives of our young people. The successful candidate will be a committed team player with excellent organisational and motivational skills. You will have a teaching allocation of 15hrs per week to ensure you have the capacity to support and develop your faculty team.

You will be able to demonstrate the ability to lead others drawing on your extensive teaching and leadership experience.
