Humanitree is an international school in Mexico City founded in 2011. It is located on two campuses in the western neighbourhood of Lomas Altas & Lomas de Chapultepec. The school teaches a child-centred curriculum incorporating the English and Welsh national standards, the US Common Core and the International Baccalaureate. We are a bilingual school, teaching classes of approximately 80% in English and 20% in Spanish. Our Pre-School and Elementary school have a project-based approach to learning with a strong focus on literacy and numeracy. This project approach is continued in Middle and High School through dedicated curriculum time coupled with more traditional subjects emphasising teacher-directed and student-directed learning.
We are a growing school, our first generation of High School students graduated in 2022. We are also an IB Diploma school that gained authorisation to teach the IB Diploma in 2020.
In September 2023, we opened our state-of-the-art Middle and High School campus designed by the renowned Rosan Bosch Studios. Our beautiful, new and innovative Pre-School and Elementary campus has now also opened.
As an Apple Distinguished School, integrating technology is at the heart of our pedagogical practice with a one-to-one student iPad program from Grade 1 through to High School.
