We are looking for a Head of Mathematics, someone who is an outstanding Mathematics Specialist with excellent Leadership skills. We want someone who is a proven teacher, who has driven up attainment and progress in Mathematics who provide strategic and operational subject leadership within the Mathematics department and raise attainment and achievement at all key stages in Mathematics.

This is a key role for the Academy, and we are looking for someone who is passionate about Mathematics, who really wants to make a difference. We are also seeking someone is ambitious, for both themselves, and their students, who would want to make their mark and then seek further promotion opportunities.

We are driven by a desire, at the core of our mission, to get the best possible results for all of our students, no matter what their starting points or circumstances. We would be delighted to show you around our Academy in order to fully appreciate our learning environment.

Although the Head of Mathematics position is a maternity cover, once the maternity cover is over, there is the opportunity for a permanent Teacher of Maths position with added responsibility.

Park Academy West London is a new school for a new age, an 11-19 academy, based in Hillingdon Middlesex who joined Aspirations Academies Trust, from 1st September 2017.

Park Academy West London has a close working relationship with the Aspiration Academies Trust’s other academies in London. These are Rivers Academy West London, which was judged ‘Good’ in its recent Ofsted report, Space Studio West London, which specialises in space, aerospace, science and maths and, in the primary sector, Oriel Academy and Oak Hill Academy.

The Trust also operates the Aspirations Teaching School Alliance which provides high quality training and support for teachers. At Park Academy West London we aim to inspire young people to be adaptable, tolerant and prepared to work hard.
