Job overview
We are are looking for someone who is reliable, hardworking and works well as part of a team.
To be successful, you will:
- Have experience of working in a school office or similar environment.
- Have some experience/knowledge of Health and Safety.
- Be able to work well under pressure and understand the busy nature of a school office.
- Demonstrate good time management and communication skills.
- Be efficient in the use of MS Word and Excel.
The main duties involved in this role will be the responsibility of Health and Safety and the role of OVC for the academy.
Working pattern: Monday to Thursday 8:00am - 4:00pm, Friday 8:30am - 4:00pm, Term Time Only (41 weeks).
About us
The Medeshamstede Academy opened in a new building in June 2013 to provide education for students from 4 to 16 years old. We are an all-through Academy, and our pupils have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) for communication and interaction with a diagnosis of autism and/or SEMH as their main presenting need.
The Academy is on a rapid improvement journey, and the new leadership team is working hard to ensure students receive the best education possible.
