Job overview
We are looking for someone who is reliable, hardworking and works well as part of a team to join us as an Administrator with Health and Safety Responsibilities.
To be successful, you will ideally have:
- Experience of working in a school office or similar environment
- Some experience/knowledge of Health and Safety
- The ability to work well under pressure and an understanding of the busy nature of a school office
- Good time management and communication skills
- Efficiency in the use of MS Word and Excel
The main duties involved in this role will be the responsibility of Health and Safety and the role of OVC for the academy.
Working pattern: Monday to Thursday, 8am to 4pm; Friday, 8.30am to 4pm. Please note, this role will include working two weeks during school holidays, one of which being the GCSE exam results week. The other is to be agreed with the line manager.

Medeshamstede Academy opened in 2012 as a new, purpose-built provision within Greenwood Academies Trust (GAT). All pupils have an Education, Health and Care plan with autism as their main presenting need. Our curriculum is broad and relevant, delivered through termly themed imaginative learning projects which support appropriate pre-formal, semi-formal and formal learning pathways towards independent learning. In Key Stage 4, a range of accreditations are offered from entry-level to GCSE to prepare pupils for their next stage of education.
