Admissions and Marketing Officer
Herries Preparatory is seeking to recruit a knowledgeable and dynamic Admissions and Marketing Officer. Reporting to and working closely with the Headmistress, high levels of customer service will be expected and the ability to form effective professional relationships with prospective parents, agents, nurseries and the local community.
The Role
This is an essential position within the school, responsible for the management and operation of the entire pupil recruitment and admission process, as well as marketing activities. The position requires collaboration with a wide range of staff, pupils, parents and prospective parents. He or she will combine a commitment to excellent service and market knowledge with the provision of strong IT skills including experience of eCommerce, if possible. The successful candidate will be expected to keep the Headmistress informed and provide regular reports to the Governors.
Position
Part time: 20 hours over 3 days per week mornings or afternoons with 10 days spread over the 3 school holidays to monitor enquiries. Occasional additional hours treated as overtime. Flexibility to work from home when suitable.
Salary: £7274 pa Pension scheme and lunch without charge.

Herries Preparatory School is an independent mixed day school for students aged 2 -11. The school is located in Berkshire, in the village of Cookham Dean near Maidenhead. Around 100 pupils currently attend Herries School. Our classes are small, allowing teachers to offer each child a high level of individual attention. The pastoral care is often praised – pupils feel safe within the school environment.
Founded in 1937, Herries Preparatory School is based within an Edwardian house, which once belonged to the "Wind in the Willows" author Kenneth Grahame.
