ACS International Schools Cobham is seeking an Admissions Associate to support in the Admissions department assisting with the enrolment management and assist families in joining the school.

The purpose of the role is to ensure the accuracy of enrolment and the smooth entrance process of students and their families into the school, including processing of student records and files.

Duties include:

  • Taking and responding to day and boarding queries from parents, students, education consultants, boarding agents, relocation agents and other associated stakeholders throughout the Admissions enquiry and application process in order to ensure the team provides a high standard of customer service
  • Inputting data into systems, ensuring the information is accurate and complete, generating correspondence as needed and assist in the re-enrolment and withdrawal process of existing students
  • Keep stock of school promotional materials, office supplies and maintenance requests
  • Liaise with other ACS departments to ensure good working relationships and accurate exchange of information
  • Assist the Registrar with student visas
  • Arrange and take orientation tours for prospective and new families, take part in open days and marketing events, participate in the life of the school to ensure up to date knowledge of the school.


Knowledge, skills and experience required:

  • Strong interpersonal skills – good communication and customer service skills on the telephone, face to face and on paper/email are vital
  • Proficient and accurate in school systems/databases such as OpenApply, Microsoft Word and Excel and be willing to learn to use other software
  • Good attention to detail, written accuracy and be highly organised
  • Flexible approach to performing a variety of tasks and a strong team worker
  • Able to work with minimum supervision and to remain calm within a dynamic and busy environment
  • Experience of working in a school, especially an admissions environment is an advantage
  • Knowledge of the IB (International Baccalaureate) and other curricula is an advantage
  • Be based in the UK as sponsorship cannot be obtained for this role.


Working hours:

Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm, 52 weeks per year with 25 days annual leave, onsite/in person at our Cobham campus.

ACS Cobham International School is a mixed, mainstream, all-through school with sixth form, for students aged 2-18. This independent school is located in Cobham, Surrey, and has approximately 1300 students enrolled.

ACS Cobham International School was founded in 1975 and is one of four ACS schools in England and Qatar. Boarding was added in 1988 and the school generally caters for expatriate families who have relocated to the UK. It boasts a purpose-built dining room, a separate theatre complex with performing arts facilities, and a gymnasium.
