We now have a vacancy in our Safeguarding and Wellbeing team for a Safeguarding Coordinator and Safeguarding & Wellbeing Team Leader on a full time basis.  This is an ideal role for someone who is looking to lead an exceptional team and to utilise their skills in supporting young people to thrive and to progress. To be successful in this role, you will need to be passionate about working with young people to enable them to progress, be organised, empathetic, resilient and proactive in providing highly effective support to any student where a safeguarding or wellbeing concern has been identified, ensuring that they receive the correct level of support at the earliest opportunity. This will involve the triage of a digitised referral system, case supervision, signposting to both internal and external sources of support utilising your knowledge of safeguarding principles and the local context, providing both early help and crisis support interventions. Operating to a high level of confidentiality and ensuring effective cross college communications whilst leading a team by example.
