An exciting opportunity has arisen at Maltby Learning Trust for an exceptional Business Administration/Finance Apprentice to work with an experienced and highly motivated team of professionals.
We are seeking to appoint an apprentice to build and maintain effective professional relationships with relevant external stakeholders and service user groups, to provide reports and updates to Leaders in relation to area of responsibility, to set clear standards for and expectations of communication with parents and other key stakeholders ensuring follow up is timely, effective and appropriate. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with others to deliver added value to the Academy and Trust and will understand the changing community and ensure stakeholder satisfaction.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
The apprentice will complete the following training:
Business Administrator level 3
- How to manage stakeholders
- Relevant laws and regulations
- Financial processes such as accounting, payroll, & managing budgets
- How to manage change
- Project management
- Factors that affect organisations, including political, economic, social
- IT packages
- Record & document production
- Interpersonal skills
- Coaching others
- Effective communications
- Quality procedures
- Planning & organisation
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
The administration role may be a gateway to further career opportunities, such as management or senior support roles.
Upon completion of, candidates could progress to professional qualifications such as AAT, or into the following roles within the Trust:
- Finance Assistant
- Finance Manager
Desired skills and personal qualities
Communication skills, IT skills, attention to detail, organisation skills, customer care skills, problem solving skills, administrative skills, number skills, analytical skills, logical, team working, initiative, non-judgemental, patience.
Qualifications
- GCSE or equivalent Functional Skills Math's & English (Grade Level 2) Essential.
- GCSE or equivalent Math's & English (Grade C/4 or above) Essential.
Things to consider
This post will include an initial induction and training for 2 weeks at the MLT head office in the Maltby Grammar Business Hub (located within Maltby Academy) in Maltby, you will also be invited to this building for 2 weekly updates & briefings with the Central team.
