Motto

To be a school with oracy at its heart, where learners think critically, speak confidently, and write meaningfully.

About Us

Established in 2005, Gulf British Academy is an independent, co‑educational school accredited by BSO and BSME .

In August 2020, we opened the doors to our brand‑new premises. GBA currently caters for pupils from Pre‑KG to Year 12.

Here you will find our current opportunities to join our passionate team. We pride ourselves on welcoming new ideas and value the contributions of all staff as part of our journey of continuous improvement.

Our Commitment

At Gulf British Academy, we believe in nurturing articulate, thoughtful learners through a rich culture of communication, critical thinking and purposeful learning across all areas of the curriculum.

Key Pillars

2- Confident Communicators

  • Learners are supported to articulate ideas clearly and persuasively, using structured oracy practices that build vocabulary, clarity of thought and active listening.

3 - Purposeful Writing

  • We connect spoken discourse to written expression, enabling students to craft meaningful, audience‑aware texts that reflect depth and creativity.

4 - Inclusive Oracy Practices

  • Debates, presentations, structured talk routines and peer feedback honour diverse voices and foster mutual respect.

5 - Critical and Creative Thinking

  • Through dialogic teaching and enquiry‑based learning, including P4C, students learn to reason logically, challenge respectfully and appreciate multiple perspectives.
