Area Operations Manager

Bohunt Education Trust are a rapidly growing multi-academy trust which aims to change the way teachers, students, parents and policymakers think about Education. The Area Operations Manager (North) manages operations across several schools in the Trust: Bohunt School in Wokingham, Bohunt School in Liphook, and The Costello School in Basingstoke.  

You will provide advice and support to the Head of School on matters relating to finance and resources, effectively line manage School support staff, and work with CEO to develop a strategic Trust-wide estates plan and individual estate development plans for each school, leading on the implementation of these plans. 

What makes a great Area Operations Manager?

• Experience and ability to manage a complex organisation across different locations and with cross-functional teams
• Ability to quickly identify and deliver on priorities from an eclectic and demanding set of stakeholders 
• Business acumen and entrepreneurial flair within a non-profit environment where forging new relationships and budget management are vital
• Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations relating to Estates function
• Relevant project management experience; sometimes running many projects at once
• Experience of formulating and managing planned buildings maintenance activities with a Site Manager
• Motivation to own, and proactively solve, problems
