As Art Assistant at Arnold House you will be the right hand of the Head of Art & Design and will be involved in all aspects of the day-to-day running of our thriving department.
The successful candidate will be motivated, well-organised, have great attention to detail and be able to work as part of a happy team.
The role includes assisting the Head of Art & Design in lessons, team teaching, preparing resources, creating displays, planning exhibitions, liaising with visiting artists, ordering materials and photographing art work. Over time you will be able to teach pre-prep classes independently and will cover for the Head of Art & Design in her absence.

About Arnold House School
Arnold House School is an independent Church of England primary school for boys aged 3-13, located in the St John's Wood area of north-west London. Arnold House School was established in 1905 with just nine pupils. Today there are eight year groups, each divided into two forms.
The school aims for class sizes of between 16 and 18. The main academic subjects are taught with a view to meeting the standards set by the Common Entrance syllabus, which relates to the demands of the national curriculum but with extra time devoted to French, classics and games.
