Within the role you will assess the full range of NVQ’s at Levels 2 & 3. Enrolling them on appropriate courses and providing coaching, mentoring and learning opportunities, you will be responsible for monitoring candidate’s progress towards qualifications, giving constructive feedback and helping them to provide a portfolio of evidence.
In order to be successful in this role, candidates must possess or be working towards an Assessor Qualification and hold a professionally relevant qualification at Level 3 as a minimum. With an outgoing and positive, supportive personality and strong team working skills, you will be able to demonstrate a commitment to the maintenance and development of quality standards.
You do need to be self-motivated, have good organisational skills and time management, including the ability to carry out administrative tasks to support the role.
Candidates must hold a valid driving licence and have access to own transport.
Those who have experience of liaising with Managers in industry are highly desirable for this post.
The ability to speak fluent Welsh is desirable.
A DBS Disclosure will be requested from the successful applicant being offered the position.
