The Perse School has a rare opportunity for an exceptional School Leader to join our Prep School as an Assistant Head (Academic), from September 2025. This position forms part of the Senior Management of the school, and the post holder is expected to be fully involved in all areas of school life, requiring energy, commitment and flexibility.
Main responsibilities will include implementing, updating and monitoring policies to deliver excellence in all academic matters, leading the School’s Heads of Department to sustain and improve educational quality, creating and developing the School’s timetable annually and overseeing the school’s continuous assessment process to track pupil progress, including chairing the termly Tracking meetings.
You will need a track record of teaching excellence, together with the capacity to inspire pupils and staff, diplomatic skills and demonstrably successful leadership experience.
