This post combines release time for leadership and management responsibilities with a three-day teaching commitment (including PPA), based in upper KS2.
Our mission statement, working together for the good of the children, is simple, but demands wholehearted commitment. Everyone who works at Burleigh knows that they are here to put the needs of the children first. All staff have a desire to see each child become a M.A.G.I.C. learner, full of: Motivation, Aspiration, Gumption, Integrity and Communication. Whilst there are shared expectations, staff are very much free to express their own individuality and lead and teach in a style that enables them to achieve the best outcomes for our pupils. Burleigh staff are not clones of one another – our diversity is our strength!
If our values and beliefs resonate with you, please apply for our Assistant Head post. All applicants are strongly advised to view the school first. Safeguarding is at the heart of all we do. The successful candidate will have an enhanced DBS check.
