We are looking to recruit an innovative, enthusiastic and committed Assistant Head of History to our Humanities Faculty. The post would suit an outstanding classroom practitioner who aspires to lead a faculty/department in the future and already has some leadership and management experience. You should also have a proven track record of achievement at Key Stages 3, 4 and 5.

The role is suited to someone who, not only shares a passion for history, but combines excellent organisational and management skills with the ability to lead, inspire and motivate both staff and students. High-quality teaching, in-depth subject knowledge and a commitment to collaborative work will be key attributes.

About Edmonton County School
Edmonton County School is a co-educational, non-denominational, community all-through school in Enfield, Middlesex. The school is split across two campuses, with the primary phase located on Bury Street and the secondary facilities on Great Cambridge Road. There are about 1,687 children aged 4-18 on the school roll, 278 of whom attend the sixth form.
