We are looking for an Assistant Head Teacher to support in the leadership of Inclusion & SEND. The specific areas of this role will be agreed with the right candidate. If you have significant experience in any of the following areas then do get in touch for a further discussion:
- Successful experience leading an area of improvement
- Passion for Inclusion and commitment to advance your knowledge in SEND leadership
- The ability to identify and implement successful safeguarding, inclusion strategies for all pupils and SEND.
- Excellent understanding of curriculum and pedagogical issues, including recent developments within the primary phase.
- Curriculum development and design - particularly within the wider curriculum;
- Effective pastoral and behaviour management skills at middle or senior leadership;
- The ability to develop excellent relationships
- Delivering CPD and supporting the development of teachers at different levels of experience;
- Understanding of strategies that enable pupils to make excellent progress.
- Able to demonstrate resilience, and willing to face new challenges with enthusiasm and positivity
