We are looking to appoint a dynamic and visionary Full Time Assistant Headteacher to join our passionate, experienced leadership team. As an Assistant Head, you will help to shape the future vision of our school. This opportunity will see you working alongside a dedicated team of school leaders and educational experts across the school; Leading on Inclusion and taking on the role as SENCO in our dynamic and growing multi academy trust.

We are looking for candidates who will work well as part of a team, as well as being self-motivated and able to work independently. Candidates who can lead as well as support growth and development. Either have already obtained the NASENco qualification or be willing to obtain this.

What we are looking for

  •  Experience as a SENCO or Inclusion leadership
  •  Strategic planning, development and implementation of SEN within school
  •  Ability to plan for a range of needs
  •  Excellent people skills
  •  Good understanding of planning assessment techniques

About the Region 6 Cluster

GLF has seven schools in the local area consisting of Greenway Junior School, Southgate Primary School, Forge Wood Primary School, Kilnwood Vale Primary School, Salfords Primary School, Lime Tree Primary School, Merstham Primary School , overseen by a Regional Director.
