The Executive Headteacher & the Governors seek to appoint an enthusiastic, inspirational and energetic Assistant Headteacher to take on the role of Curriculum Lead. Initially the post holder will be based at Springwood Campus overseeing one of the semi-formal curriculum pathways but this could change in the future as the school develops.

Our bespoke curriculum pathways meet the diverse learning needs of our children and young people, to ensure that each individual has access to a relevant and meaningful curriculum pathway that effectively prepares them for a fulfilling and purposeful adult life.
The successful candidate will be a member of the Senior Leadership Team and will have no regular teaching commitment but will be expected to support teachers across the phase, demonstrating exemplar practice & supporting their teaching team to deliver the highest quality learning opportunities.
The successful applicant will:
· Be a part of the Senior Leadership Team.
· Play a decisive role in the strategic, operational and policy development of the Vita curriculum through innovative and enterprising leadership.
· Provide leadership and guidance to classroom-based staff on Safeguarding policy and practice.
· Have experience of working with pupils with an Autism diagnosis or learning difficulties.
· Effectively manage individual and team performance across their phase, acting as a role model within the school community.
· Adapt leadership style to a range of scenarios across the school as a whole.
· Effectively promote inclusivity and safeguarding.
· Periodically provide teaching cover for absent teachers.
