The Assistant Headteacher will work closely with the Headteacher to provide leadership and management that supports the personal development of all pupils while overseeing the 6th form curriculum and pastoral care for all students. Together, they will ensure the educational success of Heron Hall’s pupils and the effective implementation of the Academy’s development plan. The Assistant Headteacher will take a lead role in the monitoring and evaluation of personal development across the school and serve as a leading professional, actively promoting effective teaching and learning practices to enhance personal development throughout the Academy

Headteacher of the Year (2022-23): Our Headteacher, Arthur Barzey, was honoured to be named The Times UK Headteacher of the Year. This recognition is a testament to the tremendous teaching and learning team we have at Heron Hall.
