We are seeking to appoint a passionate and experienced leader of English who will lead a new and exciting whole school strategy to embed reading and literacy, while also leading the English Department in powerful knowledge, curriculum rigour and expert teaching practice. English achieves good outcomes at GCSE and we are now seeking a leader who will take the department and whole school literacy to the next level of excellence. The Director of English & Literacy is an Assistant Headteacher role and will be part of the Senior Leadership Team.
