We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, proactive and highly motivated Assistant Headteacher who can work to support the Headteacher and a relatively new leadership team, to make a significant contribution towards the school's journey from Good to Outstanding. We are looking for a dynamic team player with a flexible approach and a flare for creativity.


We are looking for a leader who:

  • Is able to demonstrate outstanding teaching and have an exemplary record of primary classroom practice.
  • Has a proven track record of successfully raising standards and ensuring all pupil groups make good progress.
  • Has excellent leadership qualities and a vision to build on the school¡¦s successes to date.
  • Has experience of teaching and leading the EYFS and KS1.
  • Has experience of successfully leading a subject across the school.
  • Has the drive, determination and enthusiasm to enhance the high level of learning in our school.
  • Possess excellent organisational and communication skills and has the ability to motivate and support colleagues.
  • Can think strategically and act practically to promote school improvement.
  • Has a commitment to working in partnership with all school stakeholders and the local community.

The post will include responsibility for leading the EYFS and KS1 phase as well as mathematics across the school.
