Our story:
The Bridge Easton is a special school for children with complex needs and/or autism. The school is based on a beautiful site in the village of Easton. As a school we work with children, their families and other professionals within education, health, and care to support our children and young people to have a successful journey through their education. We are creating a safe, friendly, caring, energetic and fun school. The new building supports our class teams to be able to inspire and nurture our children and young people, meeting their individual needs. Our main school currently has children from reception to Year 10. Our Base provision offers a small cohort of children a bespoke educational provision. We have 140 children on roll at present, increasing to 160 in January 2025 with a further growth plan to increase to 180 in September 2025.
We are recruiting for:
- We are looking to recruit an innovative and passionate Assistant Headteacher to join our dynamic leadership team. This is an exciting time to join us as we embed our positive culture and ethos alongside developing our curriculum and provision to meet the needs of our children and young people. Areas of responsibility can be discussed at interview and shaped around the needs of the school and the strengths and interests of the successful candidate. Ideally, we are looking for this candidate to have experience of leadership within special and/or complex needs.

The Bridge Easton School is situated on a beautiful site in the village of Easton in Norfolk. The purpose-built school opened in January 2023. The school has modern spacious classrooms, specialist therapy rooms, extensive outdoor space including a Multi Surface Sports Area and individual outside spaces for all primary classes.
The Bridge Easton is a special school for children with complex needs and/or autism. Our provision offers an education to children from reception through to Year 13. Children attending the school all have an Education, Health and Care Plan identifying their needs. As a school we work with children, their families and other professionals within education, health and care to support a successful journey through school, with the shared aim for an appropriate transition into a fulfilling and active adult life.
The Bridge Easton School provides a truly nurturing environment; our priority is to meet the individual needs of each child, supporting children to be kind, confident and independent young people. We offer our children and young people a bespoke curriculum and package of care, minimising their barriers to learning and optimising opportunities for success and progress.
