Christchurch Primary are looking for an enthusiastic, caring and highly motivated Assistant Headteacher with exceptional leadership qualities to come and work in our school. The successful candidate will work alongside a dedicated Leadership Team and staff that strive to ensure every child reaches their full potential.
Christchurch Primary School is a very successful large five form entry school with a nursey. We pride ourselves on our strong community links and are heavily oversubscribed. This post is an exciting opportunity for a new Assistant Headteacher to work with us to achieve our strategic aims and priorities.

We are looking for an Assistant Headteacher who:
· Will put children at the heart of all they do
· Will provide inspirational leadership
· Has a commitment to working collaboratively with all staff to inspire, enable and empower them to achieve high standards
· Will have high aspirations for all our pupils
· Has the ability to communicate effectively and work with parents and different groups of people in the community
· Can think strategically and contribute to creating a coherent school vision
· Has excellent knowledge and understanding of the National Curriculum across the whole Primary school
· Has strong experience in leadership
· Will work with the Headteacher to raise the quality of teaching and learning and pupil’s achievement
· Has excellent interpersonal skills and a good sense of humour
