Ridgeway is a popular and oversubscribed school that was graded Good in all categories in 2024. The governors are seeking to appoint adynamic and inspirational teacher who has the drive and passion to make a difference to students at the school.

The successful applicant will:

  • be a well-qualified and experienced teacher, with a successful track record of student outcomes
  • be an outstanding leader of people, with a drive to improve the life chances of young people through education
  • have a proven track record being able to work with staff, developing and supporting them to be ever-more effective in their roles
  • Understand and be respectful of the interplay between the quality of the curriculum, student attitudes to learning and attendance to school and lessons
  • be able to teach highly effectively across all abilities at key stages 3 and 4
