Globe school is an outstanding, happy, inclusive, and highly successful primary school in the heart of Bethnal Green in East London with a specialist provision for children with developmental language disorder (DLD).

 We are looking to appoint an inspiring, enthusiastic and skilled teacher to the role of Assistant Headteacher. This post will have some teaching responsibilities but is not class based. We are looking for someone who has Early Years and KS1 experience, who will be responsible for a variety of whole school areas, those initially being:

 ·        Assessment

·        Leading our Early Years provision while our current leader is on maternity leave

·        Leading a curriculum subject area (to be agreed and dependent on the current school’s needs)

·        Supporting Early Career Teachers

·        Line management of meal supervisors

·        Leadership of our after-school club provision

·        Behaviour

·        Attendance

Applicant must;

·        Have at least 8 years of teaching experience, a significant part of which has been in the Early Years and KS1

·        Have at least 5 years subject leadership experience

·        Possess effective and supportive interpersonal communicative skills with pupils, colleagues and parents

·        Be prepared to lead by example

·        Be flexible, creative, strategic and hard working
