An exciting opportunity has arisen for you to be part of our team at St George’s Catholic Primary School. We are seeking to appoint an Assistant Headteacher to join us in January 2025 or at the earliest opportunity. Our school has a family feel and values highly its Catholic ethos. The Assistant Headteacher role is designed for an energetic and dynamic candidate who can innovate and inspire leaders to take the school to the next level. This post is class-based within Upper Key Stage 2, so the successful candidate will show themselves to be someone who can clearly implement and drive improvement in teaching and learning. The Assistant Head will lead Core Curriculum areas across the school. And they will also be a part of the Safeguarding Team. If you are passionate about supporting children to achieve their potential in a calm way – this is the right post for you. Ideally a practising Catholic would be preferred, as well as those supporting and willing to actively participate in the Catholic ethos will be considered. This is a reserved post and the candidate should be a practicing Catholic
