Due to the internal trust promotion of the current post holder we are delighted to advertise for the post of Assistant headteacher, with responsibility for Assessment, Data and Reporting. Key Purpose of Job
- Assist the Headteacher in leading and managing the College.
- Support and represent the Headteacher at meetings as, and when, required.
- Actively support the catholic life of the Academy.
- Work in collaboration with the Headteacher. and SLT, in formulating and reviewing the Mission Statement and College key priorities by:
- Establishing the policies through which they shall be achieved
- Managing staff and resources to achieve aims
- Monitoring progress towards their achievement
- Deputise for the Headteacher as required
- Play an active role in College strategic planning as a member of the Academy leadership team.
- Be responsible for leading and co-ordinating curriculum development and planning, teaching and learning in a designated area and across the school.
- Take responsibility for a specific area as agreed with the Headteacher
- Carry out a designated programme of teaching
- Model excellent teaching
- Strategically lead Assessment and intervention acting as Raising Standards Lead.
