Job overview

The assistant for the IT Team is responsible for assisting the IT Technician in the daily operation of the Tech Hub and support to learners staff.

 

Duties & Responsibilities

 

1) Tech Hub

  • Distribution and collection of borrowed items from the Tech Hub such as earphones, iPads.
  • Keep data base up to date on distributed and collected IT items.
  • Follow up on non-returned items to tech Hub.
  • Ensuring all It Tech Hub equipment such as cameras, iPads controllers, etc are always charged.
  • Ensure all It Equipment in the Tech Hub is tidy and stored correctly.
  • Monitor students for video game hour in Tech Hub.  
  • Collection and delivery of IT items and requests to classrooms and/or offices.

  

2) IT Tech Support

The following will be trained, no previous experience required:

  • Assisting staff/students in basic screen sharing connection to display devices.
  • Assisting staff/students with basic printing issues.
  • Set up for recording equipment for videos.


3) Care & Guidance

  • To be familiar with the School’s Child Protection Policy and to report concerns to the designated Child Protection Officer
  • To ensure all educational practices are in line with school’s health and safety procedures and policies.
