Assistant Librarian

The job

As an assistant library, you will supervise the media library and guide students in searching, selecting and acquiring information. Furthermore, you will inform teachers about the possibilities of using the media library and reserving rooms and computers for students. Also, the administration of borrowed materials is in perfect order because of you. In addition, you will continue to develop yourself in an informal working atmosphere where there is room for your ambitions.

What can you expect from us?

• A part time appointment for the school year 2023-2024, start August 2023;
• Salary grading in salary scale 5 in accordance with the Collective Labor Agreement Secondary (min. €1.979,- max €2.827,-); based on full-time employment);

This is what we ask of you

• A relevant degree and eligible to work in the EU;
• A perfect command of the English language;
• Previous experience in a library is a plus;
• You are familiar with media literacy and know how to provide our students and teachers with the right information.
