The Derby High School in Bury, Greater Manchester, is seeking to appoint an Assistant School Business Manager for September 2021. This newly created position will be an excellent stepping stone to a School Business Manager role in a large secondary school. We are looking for a talented individual who is able to work across a variety of areas and inspire and enthuse those around them. Candidates looking for an opportunity to progress in their career, as well as highly experienced applicants will be considered.
The Derby High School is currently the highest performing school in Bury and we have sustained this position for a number of years. We are an inclusive school serving a diverse student population who are a joy to be around. We are a school that offers amazing opportunities for our students. Operating as a Science and Arts College since 2003 we have fantastic facilities. Our multimillion pound Sports Hall, EXCEL, opened in 2015 complementing our expansive playing fields and pitches. Our bespoke performing Arts building, INSPIRE, exudes creativity incorporating media suites, a large drama studio and a sprung dance floor. Our latest innovation has been our DISCOVER, state of the art science labs, opened in 2017.

We are currently engaged in the development and design of a Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths garden.
