We are looking to appoint an inspirational, enthusiastic and dynamic professional as Assistant Year Leader to support the pastoral and academic progress of a year group working alongside the Year Leader.
This is an exciting and challenging role and the successful applicant will have strong practical skills, patience, a sense of humour and excellent interpersonal and organisational skills. The school has a very good reputation for its pastoral provision and for being inclusive. This is an excellent opportunity for the right person to develop their expertise in pastoral and academic provision through shared responsibility of a year group; in addition there will be the opportunity to develop key aspects of the role through innovation and creative approaches to learning, achievement and progress. You will be able to demonstrate impact on outcomes for pupils in both academic and pastoral terms.

About Titus Salt
Titus Salt School is a mixed non-denominational community school and sixth form for pupils aged 11-18. It is located in Baildon, West Yorkshire, and was formerly known as Salt Grammar School.
The school was founded in 1896 by the politician and philanthropist Sir Titus Salt, and has about 1,500 pupils. It was originally on a different site, and used to be segregated into male and female divisions. It moved to a new building, constructed under the Building Schools for the Future programme, in 2008.
