The Role:
We are looking for a passionate and motivated person to join our Safeguarding and Welfare Team.
Our Safeguarding & Welfare Officers play a leading role in ensuring the personal development of students, through promoting awareness of their role in modern society and through the provision of appropriate personal and pastoral support that aims to remove barriers to achievement and maximise potential.
The post holder will be supporting our most vulnerable students to become self-confident and resilient and know that they have the potential to be a successful student which will have a strong, positive impact on their progress.
They will work closely with the Head of Student Services and Curriculum teams to maximise student attendance, engagement, and achievement. Much of the role will be to support students on a 1-2-1 basis and liaise with external support agencies, there will also be the requirement to deliver enrichment and tutorial sessions to help promote students’ personal development and wellbeing.
