Job overview

We seek experienced and passionate Baby and toddler Room Educators with expertise in caring for babies and toddlers to join a dynamic early years team in Monaco. The ideal candidates are vocational childcare professionals with excellent knowledge of child development, particularly in the infant and toddler age range, and a proven ability to organise and lead age-specific sessions for kids aged 6-20 months, who will attend with their primary carers. 


Key Responsibilities:

Lead the daily operations of the baby and toddler room, ensuring a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment.


Oversee the planning and delivery of age-appropriate activities that support the development of babies and toddlers, focusing on early learning goals and milestones.


Build and maintain strong relationships with parents, providing reassurance, tips and regular updates on their child’s progress and development.


Ensure that all practices comply with health and safety regulations and safeguarding procedures.


Monitor and assess the progress of children in the room, identifying any areas of concern and implementing individual care plans where necessary.


Work closely with management to ensure the smooth running of the room and contribute to the overall success of the club.


Requirements:

  • English native level ( mother tongue) 
  • A relevant qualification in Early Years Education (Level 3 or higher).
  • Proven experience working with babies and toddlers
  • Excellent knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and child development for the 0-3 age group.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in early childhood education, with at least 1 year in a baby room
  • Ability to work and support a team.
  • A passion for creating a positive and stimulating learning environment for babies and toddlers.
  • Exceptional communication skills and building rapport with children, parents, and staff.
  • A commitment to maintaining the highest standards of care and safeguarding.
