Behaviour Support Coordinators (x2 posts)

We are looking to appoint two exceptional individuals to the position of Behaviour Support Coordinators based at Plymstock School. These talented individuals will be required to manage and continue to develop our caring and supportive learning environment for our young people, including the school vision of "Achieving Excellence through Curriculum and Culture".

Under the direction of their Line Manager, within an agreed system of supervision, the post holder is responsible for the effective day-to-day organisation, coordination, supervision of students and support of the Reset and Internal Reflection rooms (CORE rooms). Implementing agreed work programmes with individuals/groups within these rooms.

E – Effort; Work Hard, Focus on your own work

What we are looking for:

• Experience of working in an educational setting with small groups of students, experience of designing and delivering interventions/learning programmes
• Experience of using School systems (such as Class Charts, SIMS and CPOMS)
• Level 3 Safeguarding or willingness to work towards
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including effective communication skills with stakeholders of all levels from students, parent/carers, through to the Senior Leadership Team
• Enthusiastic and committed to meeting the needs of the students
