BOARDING GRADUATE ASSISTANT (Winter and Summer terms)

Verbier International School is located in the heart of the beautiful, Swiss village of Verbier. The school is growing and we will move to a new site and buildings in August 2025. 

VIS is looking for an enthusiastic, positive and reflective recent graduate to operate as a Graduate Assistant from January 2025. The successful candidate will have boarding duties during the week and weekends during term time and will have a broad range of duties in both Primary and Secondary schools.

The position is a great opportunity for a recent graduate to enjoy working in a wonderful small school and a busy small boarding house. This position would suit those looking to start a teaching career and to gain experience of pastoral care in a boarding school.

Applicants will be internationally minded, flexible and kind. English mother tongue or excellent English is required. Knowledge of French or other European languages is an asset. Experience of teaching, or working with young people is desirable. The candidate must have the right to work in Switzerland and a valid driving license.
