Job overview

Due to our continued growth and expansion, The British International School Casablanca is looking to recruit passionate teachers who adopt a team player attitude, are up to date with their teaching and learning pedagogy and genuinely care about their students' well-being and development.

The package offered is excellent. Our salaries are highly competitive (paid tax free) and given that the standard of living is significantly cheaper than in Europe & The Middle East, there are certainly opportunities to save without compromising on your own personal comfort. We also provide a monthly housing allowance, annual flight allowance and gold healthcare. Above all else, we believe we offer a much better work-life balance than the UK and provide a friendly and supportive environment for you to grow as a professional with high-quality, like-minded professionals.

Finally, Morocco offers a wonderfully cosmopolitan environment, which seamlessly blends the Berber, Arab, European and African traditions together. We are also blessed geographically, meaning our country serves as a wonderful steppingstone for those wishing to explore further afield, whilst still only being a 3-hour flight away from the UK.

Minimum requirements:

• Honors degree from a UK university or similar in a relevant field of study

• Qualified teacher status / PGCE / BEd

• Teaching experience in the UK education system in UK or UK international schools

• Satisfactory police / DBS/ICPC check

• Minimum of 3 years teaching experience

BISC is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, and applicants must be willing to undergo child protection screening as part of their application. This includes submitting a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Certificate and/or ICPC certificate prior to employment and checks with past employers.
