Lilian Baylis Technology School is a mixed, 11-18, inner city school located in a new building at Vauxhall, London. We are a multicultural community school, which serves the local community, and we view this as one of our key strengths. We value the diversity of our school, and strive to ensure that our students feel represented, both at whole school level and within the curriculum.
We are seeking a Business Support Assistant to provide one to one support to the Business Support Unit carrying out administrative tasks and Reception cover. They will undertake word processing, admin, photocopying, First Aid and other such duties to contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the Business Support Unit and support the work of school staff and governors.
The ideal candidate should have GCSE English and Maths and a good knowledge of using word processing (google or Microsoft) and a good working knowledge of computer use. The successful candidate will also need to cover for other administrative team members in case of absence or with particular pressure points that may occur in work-flow so should be able to effectively multitask. All other training will be provided.
